IndieSF...Where being famous is not a prerequisite for airplay

Chief Ambassador Of The Funk

Rocque Ranaldi presides over the ministry of funk every Friday night at 6 (mtn time) with the Independent Get Down - 2 hours of funk, soul, r&b, hip-hop, breakbeats, and the occasional Van Halen record just to make sure you're paying attention. New to IndieSF - then you should grab a podcast or 2 - plenty of them over in the right column.

New Music Poureth In...Decemberists and more wk of 10.27.08

Nothing we crave more than new music here at IndieSF, especially when its from one of our faves. We will wait at the mailbox for it sometimes. Well, this week we have the new Decemberists single series 'Always The Bridesmaid'. The band is releasing 3 volumes of new songs and, as luck would have it, we were able to procure all 3 volumes at once rather than wait. You won't have to wait—we have several songs in rotation already.

Independent Get Down Tricks and Treats

If you didn't hear Rocque "Funkenstein" Ranaldi's Halloween IGD or you want to hear it again, grab the podcast over in the right column and enjoy - its the one labeled Its The Great Funkin' Charlie Brown.

Bright Eyes (Conor Oberst Live)

The end of another weekend is looming and I've been lazy about blogging but did want to register another review of the Conor Oberst show I took in a couple of nights ago (and I realized this entry was going to be too late to urge you to see his show in Taos).
